Five mistakes we make unknowingly, when choosing an outfit..



Everybody loves to stand out when it comes to looks,  trends, fashion and dressing, for that reason people tend to take drastic measures and make mistakes unknowingly...
I am going to spot out five simple mistakes that people make unknowingly. 
Ever wondered why at times you feel "wow I look bomb." but when you go out,  everybody thinks you are just as ordinary as a folk.

  1. Choosing an outfit to compete.
Ooooh lala...
Oh yes beloved,  you probably saw your friend or someone from your surrounding wearing something that looked fire on her,  which made her grab so much attention and you want the same attention to show your friend she is no match for you 😕.

You will notice that you are not grabbing any attention,  
Why? 
Well..  The reason is simple 
You chose an outfit that belongs to a different body type..
Listen my darlings, we differ in size and shape,  hence,  it is important that we choose outfits according to our bodies.

    2. Choosing an outfit trying to 
        Impress someone 

  • " I have a crush on John and I know he likes girls who dress like this. "

  • " I need to look my best tomorrow for that job interview for the boss to like me "
  • "What if people out there don't like how I dress "
Such are statements people make when choosing outfits.
Yeah it's normal to get a little insecure for a while but it's not okay. 
Listen babe... 

The only way that someone is going to notice or like you is when you don't care about them noticing or liking you. 

Trying so hard to impress others will just make your outfits look cheap and too much. 
Just be yourself,  wear what suits you, period.

   3. Choosing an outfit contrary
        to the weather.
 I've heard so many people say, 
"fashion kills the weather. "

But did you know that...
Weather is fashion? 
People that brand clothes brand them for specific weather conditions.

Some people choose to wear hoodies during summer and bum shorts during winter, neglecting their health and protocol.

Dress like a normal person,  please.. 

   4. choosing an outfit according 
       To someone's negative views
        about you. 
There is this saying that says, 
Each time a person judges you, they reveal a part of them that needs healing. 
This is when the issue of building self confidence comes in. 
People are always going to talk wether good or bad.  As long as you know yourself and give yourself so much love,  you are unstoppable. 

   5. Choosing an outfit to look expensive 
    
Most people want to look expensive and different from others. 

Some people will combine different types of expensive jewelry just so people should see that they are balling (rich). 
But there is a difference between looking expensive and being expensive
A rich person may just put slippers and a simple dress on and still look expensive because of quality.

You may combine all the expensive material on you and look bad because,  sometimes,  too much of everything is bad, because there is to much quantity on you. 
Fashion is all about quality and not quantity, it's about painting your own colours regardless of what people think. 
Don't let your chances of painting your wall with your own colours pass you by because of these five mistakes. 😉
